Launchpad (the "Site," at focus.aaronlutz.design) is a small collection of free browser-based focus games and calming exercises made as a healthier alternative to mindless scrolling. Please read the following before using it.
The Site's owner is not a physician, psychologist, therapist, or licensed medical or mental-health professional, and provides no medical, psychological, diagnostic, or therapeutic services. The content, games, exercises, "Focus Finder," "Brain Profile," dimension scores, tips, and suggestions on the Site are provided for general informational, educational, and entertainment purposes only.
Nothing on the Site is a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Using the Site does not create any doctor–patient, therapist–client, or other professional relationship. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical or mental-health condition, and never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read or did on the Site.
The Focus Finder and Brain Profile are self-reflection tools, not assessments or diagnostic instruments. Their questions, scores, "strengths," "struggles," and recommendations are not a diagnosis of ADHD or anything else, are not validated clinical measures, and should not be interpreted as a medical or psychological evaluation.
We do not claim, and you should not assume, that playing these games or doing these exercises will improve your memory, attention, focus, productivity, school or work performance, or any real-world cognitive ability, or that they treat, reduce, delay, or prevent ADHD or any condition. Independent, high-quality scientific evidence for such "brain-training" benefits is limited, and we make no such promises. The games are designed to be fun and to give a busy mind something engaging to do — nothing more is claimed.
Any references to attention, working memory, impulse control, or similar concepts describe what a game is loosely themed around, not a proven clinical effect. Results, "scores," and progress shown on the Site reflect only your activity within the games and are not measures of your health or abilities.
The yoga and breathing sections involve gentle physical movement and breath work. Movement and breathing exercises are not suitable for everyone. Consult your doctor before beginning any new physical activity, especially if you are pregnant, have an injury, or have a heart, respiratory, blood-pressure, or other health condition. Move slowly, never push into pain, and stop immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, short of breath, or unwell. You participate at your own risk.
By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Launchpad is built to be privacy-friendly. In plain terms:
localStorage. This information is not sent to us or anyone else, not uploaded to a server, and not sold or shared. You can erase it any time by clicking "Reset my profile" on the dashboard or clearing your browser data. Clearing your browser data will delete it permanently.Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California) may give you rights over personal data. Because the Site does not collect or store personal data on a server, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf — your information lives on your own device.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, the games, the exercises, or any information or suggestion provided, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. You use the Site at your own risk and are solely responsible for your own decisions and wellbeing.
The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If a child uses the Site, a parent or guardian should supervise and is responsible for that use.
These terms may be updated from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised terms. This section, and the Site generally, are offered without any specific choice of governing law; local mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you are unaffected.

A note on ADHD: ADHD is a real, diagnosable condition that deserves real support. Only a qualified clinician can diagnose it or recommend treatment. If focus difficulties are affecting your work, relationships, or wellbeing, that's a great reason to talk to a doctor or mental-health professional — these games are just a small, friendly nudge, not a replacement for that care.
